Life changes are not necessarily a negative thing, they are needed for growth and maturity to take place. However, many times the situations that help us to grow and develop are the same situations that we regard as life's tragedies.
Personally I believe that nothing happens by chance and every situation we face is the perfect situation needed to push us towards learning and fulfilment of our life's purpose, even when we don't seem to know what that purpose is. to me the human being is part of a cosmic interaction where every situation in life is a universal feedback in response to the energy we send out to the world (our thoughts, feelings and actions). 'What you emanate you attract'.
Therefore keeping positivism and hope through even adverse situations brings a better outcome than focussing on the worse possible outcome. In reality situations and outcomes are just that, situations and outcomes, it's our interpretation and focus that make them positive or negative.
By maintaining a negative focus in relation to life's events or towards yourself and your capabilities you are taking a longer and more painful journey towards your learning. A positive and healthy mind-body connection is essential to maintain the balance between the various areas of life, to achieve great things, to find inner peace and to work towards goals with certainty.
Whether or not you agree with Jung's theory of universal influences, (each person is part of a universal process and spiritually linked to a universal matrix where both world and individuals are in a state of never stopping change and continuously seeking equilibrium) you have nothing to loose by facing your life's challenges and transitions with a positive mind, ready to learn from life's past lessons and with the certainty of a brighter future.
Even when we face a situation which is emotionally and physically demanding, our coping skills should not be in resisting the situation and trying to erase the fears but instead in our wisdom to be aware and manage the fears at the same time that we allow ourselves to experience our human vulnerability and weakness as part of being alive. Bad things happen not because we deserve them but to make us grow and learn.
In facing your life's challenges, be it divorce, illness, career related transitions, bereavement, emotional conflict and any others, you can benefit from techniques successfully designed to deal with anxiety, panic attacks, negative thoughts and believes, low self-esteem, fear, guilt, sadness and anger. This could be anything from a breakthrough session of a few hours to a program of several weeks with weekly or fortnightly sessions consisting of coaching and whichever therapies will work best for you. The aim will be to produce results that bring balance back into your life, as well as inner peace.
